Two works built upon a series of works produced for the solo exhibition Untitled (Archive Vranyczany-Dobrinović Palace) at the Josip Račić Gallery, organized by the National Museum of Modern Art in Zagreb in 2023. The series was dedicated to the then-current state of the Vranyczany-Dobrinović Palace, the Museum's headquarters, presented through images of an improvised storage room temporarily housing the collection of 12,000 artworks before the commencement of reconstruction work on the building following the earthquake. The theme was explored through photographs displayed in double-sided lightboxes, unified in an installation with pedestals borrowed from the Museum. These pedestals, aside from their original function as supports for artworks, also became artistic objects themselves.
For Osijek version of the work, four photographs were taken of the emptied interior of the Fine Arts Museum in Osijek, from which pedestals were borrowed and used in the setup of the work.
The connection to the theme of the 29th Slavonian Biennale is established through the current displacement of the Museum of Fine Arts in Osijek during the energy renovation of its building and the search for ways to maintain its presence and visibility.
The works were produced for the group exhibition of the 29th Slavonian Biennale at the Waldinger Gallery, Osijek, Croatia in 2024.
