Untitled (Archive ST3: Military Hospital) is the continuation of the project Untitled (Archive ST3) that was started in 2015. The focus of the project lies in the re-contextualization of the 1960s architecture – in this case, of the former Military Hospital in Split.

The work is a hybrid of photography and light installation. It consists of digital prints of archival photographs of the hospital’s interior taken in 1965, before the hospital’s inauguration. The photographs represent a clinical view, distanced and cold, and include a temporal distance from the represented subjects, pointing out the relationship between place and document. Each print is mounted on the pair of vertically placed old hospital beds, as a freestanding object displayed in space. Beds are not only props of the past in the role of artistic installation, but at the same, they represent some kind of constructions, frames for photographs, and bearers of a certain memory.

Two works from the series were produced for the group exhibition Oscillations at the Museum of Fine Arts, Split, Croatia in 2019, and an additional four for the solo exhibition Untitled (Archive ST3: Military Hospital) at the Waldinger Gallery – Osijek City Galleries, Osijek, Croatia in 2019.
